Caring for someone you love is beautiful, heavy work — and it can be lonely work.
Flowers exists so that caring for someone is never lonely work. Founded by Sharawn Connors of Mahogany Homes, who is caring for her own Nana, it gathers caregivers and elders around tables in and near Oakland — to eat well, to be seen, and to give our elders their flowers while they're still here to smell them.

Membership keeps the gatherings going — the room, the flowers on the table, and the seat for someone who couldn't otherwise come. Members save their seats in the app, carry their tickets on their phone, and are welcomed in by name at the door.
